- Hands-on leadership of the kitchen and being actively present during service
- Contributing ideas to menu development and seasonal changes
- Ensuring consistent quality, taste and presentation of all dishes during assigned shifts
- Leading and motivating the kitchen team during service and daily operations
- Supporting the establishment and maintenance of kitchen standards and preparation guidelines
- Training staff and ensuring compliance with hygiene and HACCP regulations
- Collaborating with management on menu planning, pricing and food cost control, first with guidance and later independently
- Supporting orders, supplier communication and proper storage of goods
